1.Who we are
VEDMI (vedmi.in) is a learning service run by Noveward Technologies Private Limited, a company registered in India with its office in Delhi, India ("Noveward", "we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and Noveward. By creating an account or using VEDMI, you agree to them.
2.Who can use VEDMI
VEDMI is made for school students and the parents who support them. Today it covers CBSE Class 10.
If you are under 18, use VEDMI with the knowledge and consent of your parent or guardian. A parent or guardian must make any payment, and is responsible for the account of a student under 18.
3.Your account
- Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One account is for one student. Do not share it or sell access to it.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account.
4.Plans, credits and payment
VEDMI has a Free plan and paid plans (Standard, Plus and Bindaas). Current prices and what each plan includes are on the pricing page.
- Paid plans are sold as passes for 1 or 3 months. A pass is a single payment and does not renew on its own.
- Prices are in Indian rupees. As required by Government of India tax rules, 18% GST is added to the plan price, and the full amount is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment partner; we do not see or store your card or UPI details.
- AI features use credits. Credits are added every day according to your plan. On plans that carry credits over, unused credits last until the pass ends. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and end with the pass.
- Bindaas has no daily credit limit but is subject to fair use. We may limit use that looks automated, shared or far beyond what one student could need.
- During a pass you can upgrade to a bigger plan by paying the difference for the days left, plus GST. The pass keeps its end date and saved credits carry over. Moving to a smaller plan waits until the pass ends.
- When a pass ends, your account moves to the Free plan. Your notes and history stay.
- We may change prices or plans for future purchases. A change never affects a pass you have already paid for.
5.Refunds and cancellation
Passes are not refundable once bought, except for payment errors such as being charged twice. The full rules are in our refund and cancellation policy.
6.About Vedmi's AI help
Vedmi uses artificial intelligence to explain your textbook, answer questions, make quizzes and write notes. It works from your textbook pages and official board material, but AI can still make mistakes.
- Check important answers against your textbook or with your teacher.
- VEDMI supports your studies. It does not replace your school, teachers or tuition.
- We do not promise any marks, grades or exam results.
7.Content and ownership
NCERT textbooks belong to NCERT and CBSE question papers belong to CBSE. VEDMI shows them so you can study from them. The VEDMI name, logo, character, design and software belong to Noveward.
Notes, photos and questions you add stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run VEDMI for you, for example to answer your questions and show your notes on your devices.
8.Things you must not do
- Copy, scrape or download VEDMI content in bulk, or use bots or scripts on the service.
- Resell, rent or share access to VEDMI.
- Try to break, overload or get around the security or limits of VEDMI.
- Upload anything unlawful, harmful, hateful or that belongs to someone else without permission.
- Use VEDMI to harass anyone, or to cheat in an exam where outside help is not allowed.
9.Suspending or closing accounts
You can stop using VEDMI and delete your data or account from Settings at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we reasonably can. If we close a paid account for no fault of yours, we will refund the unused part of your pass.
10.Availability and changes
We work hard to keep VEDMI running and improving, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away something important from a paid plan, we will tell you before it happens.
11.Limits of our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, VEDMI is provided as it is, and Noveward is not responsible for indirect losses such as lost marks, opportunities or data that you could have saved yourself. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.
12.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to your rights as a consumer.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we make an important change, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Using VEDMI after that means you accept the updated terms.
14.Contact and grievances
Questions or complaints about these terms or VEDMI go to help@noveward.com. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month. You can also reach us from the contact page.
